During the 100 day project I stitched, painted, found poems that I loved, wrote poetry that I put on my own fiber art, used #hashtags more then I ever have and played in new ways with color and words.  It was a fun challenge.  I found some other artists who were also doing this challenge and that was fun too. The project concluded on June 16, 2022.  I posted almost every day consecutively--sometimes I'd miss a day, sometimes I'd post twice in a day.  I was quite excited to do this challenge.

If you're curious about the other art works that I posted earlier check them out here:

More Updates on Mankato Ave, Winona

Following signs is very important in this time of extensive construction.

This  huge pile of soil is on the side of the road on Mankato Avenue.  This is just South of Target.

Some of the sidewalks are closed with a little vocal machine to help a vision impaired person know not to proceed. Hmmm, I wonder where that person would go.

This section of Mankato is two lanes--one in each direction.

Lot of heavy equipment moving soil and rock.

These lanes of Mankato are heading South near the hospital toward Highway 61.

The intersection of Mankato and Highway 61 has some interesting ways to get through.  Temporary signal lights help the traffic flow but there are delays.

Taking deep breaths; avoiding the early morning, noon and 4-5pm times are helpful in avoiding great delay.

Farmer Running for Senate from Southeast Minnesota

Dan Wilson is running for Senate in the 2022 election.

Two young supporters created a sign in support, "Farmer for Senate."

"As a beginning farmer I’ve seen the difficulty of land access that prevents bright, innovative young people from getting into the business; I have seen older, experienced farmers driven to the wall by unfair prices and corporate consolidation. If you elect me I will work to put more money in Soil and Water Conservation Districts and to invest and explore innovative new ideas like a fair trade milk and beef program and payroll cost share for farmers."
